The Queer Lit Collective is a non profit organization with a mission to establish unrestricted access to queer literature for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies. They work with partners in the community to establish new libraries and provide resources for their long-term sustainability.
Banned Books Week is an annual campaign celebrating the freedom to read by drawing attention to banned or challenged books, including queer literature, and highlighting censorship efforts in libraries and schools.
Not only will Queer Lit Collective be hosting a Banned Books Bash at Nothing's Left Brewery on Wednesday, November 5th, but there will be many fun activities leading up to the festivities.
